A one man team. Me - Jacob or Darth. I went to AIE for game programming. I have been programming since I was a freshman in high school, mostly video games but occasionally software as well.
I started out just programming functions on a TI-80 calculator. They were just math equations that just made math class pretty easy but as the equations got harder the programming got more fun. Junior year I had the amazing experience to go to Snoisle and take the Digipen video programming class. The first year we learned C++ but during the 2nd year I taught myself C# and LUA. After 2 years there I went to AIE where I honed my C++ and C# skills and learned Python.
My style of projects
I believe that to make the best product you can that you have to work at it. What I do I have nicknamed "100 versions". Instead of doing one project and being happy with the end result; I make one project examine it, see what works and what I could do better, then do it again from another angle. Again and again until I have the best version of the product I can. To fully understand what you do you have to see it from every angle, until then all your seeing is what is in front of you.
What is IIgnite?
IIgnite is the name of a company created by me during a high school project. I loved the idea so much that I have kept it alive to this day and brand all my projects under that name.
